Latter-day Saints Gainesville, Hosts First Annual Blue Bag Campaign with Crossroads

Earlier this month, the Latter-day Saints (LDS) blessed Crossroads with over 1,744 food items valued at almost $700. Crossroads provided LDS with a short list of non-perishable food items, blue reusable shopping bags, and communication templates to help make their efforts easier.

Only surpassed by rent, food is Crossroads’ most significant expense. Food drives help ease budget constraints and bring awareness to the increasing issue of children’s food insecurity in our local schools.

If you are interested in leading a food drive, please get in touch with Crossroads at

*Donations not on our approved list are donated to Haymarket Food Pantry.
