Thank You From Children We Serve

Pennington Traditional School Demonstrates Generosity
Adaeze Acholonu, an eighth grader at Pennington School recently initiated, organized, and led an amazing food drive for Crossroads Connection. In two weeks, Adaeze collaborated with her classmates to collect nearly a month’s worth of the four items they donated for a total of 5,000 food items! Heritage Hunt Food Drive
On Saturday, October 26, Heritage Hunt residents showed their generosity and community support by donating 4,400 food items for Crossroads Connection. This is the largest food drive of the year! Haymarket Day
We had a very successful Haymarket Day. There were throngs of people. We connected with 29 new volunteers or groups that want to do food drives. We had many of our friendly volunteers stop by to say hi. We had interest from schools, Next Level Fitness, Marsteller Middle School, and several individuals.
